High-level meeting organized by the CDTI and the ALBA Synchrotron, which will bring together leading European companies, research centers, and institutions in the semiconductor and quantum technology value chain.
Semiconductors and quantum technologies have become two of the most critical strategic pillars of the global economy.
Their manufacturing processes, which operate on the nanoscale, require extremely precise characterization tools. In this context, the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) and the ALBA Synchrotron are organizing a technical workshop aimed at professionals and researchers working in the value chains of both sectors.
The main objective of the event is to foster collaboration among the various players in the European ecosystem, help companies identify competitive advantages, and demonstrate how large-scale research infrastructures can contribute to the development of the next generation of electronic and quantum devices.
The workshop will feature leading European organizations: IMEC, the National Microelectronics Center (CNM), the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), ASML, and Zeiss, as well as the future InnoFab center, which will be built adjacent to the ALBA facilities and will strengthen the country’s semiconductor manufacturing capacity.
